Strengthening market inspection and control during September 2nd holiday

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 2365 dated August 28, 2025 of the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development on strengthening market supervision, inspection and control on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, on the afternoon of August 29, the Department of Industry and Trade of Khanh Hoa province directed the Market Management Sub-Department to synchronously deploy many measures to ensure security, safety and market stability, well serving the consumption needs of people in the province.

Mr. Tran Quoc Sanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Khanh Hoa province said that in order to ensure market stability, product safety and protect consumer rights, the department requires the Market Management force to proactively grasp the situation and promptly handle violations. At the same time, closely coordinate with the press to provide transparent information, create consensus and raise public awareness in the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods.

Accordingly, the provincial Market Management force will closely coordinate with relevant authorities to organize inspections and controls at commercial centers, wholesale markets, traditional markets, entertainment and resort areas and key streets in the province. The inspection content focuses on the quality of goods, food safety, compliance with legal regulations on standards, technical regulations and declaration of goods quality. In addition, price monitoring, anti-speculation, hoarding and unreasonable price increases, especially of essential goods such as gasoline, hazardous chemicals, industrial explosives, etc. will also be vigorously implemented.

Along with inspection and handling of violations, the Department of Industry and Trade also encourages organizations and individuals engaged in commercial activities to actively participate in the fight against counterfeit and poor quality goods in many practical and effective forms.
