Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary attends the opening ceremony of the exhibition of the country's 80-year achievements

On the morning of August 28, at the National Exhibition Center, Hanoi, the solemn opening ceremony of the Exhibition of National Achievements on the 80-year journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness took place.

The exhibition is held to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day September 2.

Attending the ceremony were: General Secretary To Lam; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man ; former leaders of the Party and State, and about 6,000 domestic and international delegates.

Exhibition opening ceremony

The National Achievements Exhibition will take place from August 28 to September 5, 2025 with the largest display space and content ever. The exhibition will feature the participation of 34 provinces and cities, 28 ministries, sectors and businesses. Along with that is a series of special programs and activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.

The exhibition will introduce the country's outstanding achievements in 80 years of construction and development in various fields, especially industry - technology; investment - trade; agriculture - rural areas; security - defense; foreign affairs; health, education; culture, sports and tourism.

At the same time, introduce Vietnamese culture - Country - People with 4,000 years of cultural tradition; culture of 54 ethnic groups; richness of resources, products of three regions and outstanding architectural works past and present across the country.

The exhibition is not only a place to recreate the glorious journey of the country but also conveys a strong message about the aspiration for development, the spirit of integration and faith in the future.

The exhibition is designed scientifically, modernly and professionally. The display layout is rich, diverse and comprehensive. The content is authentic, attractive and convincing.

Attractive and impressive expression through many means, forms, styles, from artifacts, images, documents presented by modern technologies (3D, virtual reality, multimedia audiovisual, artificial intelligence (AI) ...). All are practical, enjoyable and culturally profound.

Delegates attending the Exhibition

The exhibition includes many special thematic areas, showing cross-sections of revolutionary history and vertical sections of core values ​​and great achievements in the heroic history of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people.

In particular, the central area of ​​the Exhibition with the theme "95 years of the Party flag lighting the way" stands out, recreating the general important events, brilliant milestones, and successes under the leadership of the Party; the exhibition space "Vietnam - Country - People" about achievements in cultural and artistic development, honoring the beauty of nature, country and people of Vietnam; the exhibition space "Economic locomotive" about the achievements of state-owned corporations and groups; the exhibition space "Start-up and nation building" about the achievements of typical private enterprises...

In particular, the Exhibition Center has dedicated an entire building named "Culture lights the way for the nation" to display the unique cultural space and art of our nation through the regions of the country.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh delivered a speech at the opening of the Exhibition.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged and commended the agencies, units, localities and enterprises that have actively and effectively contributed to the completion of the project and the organization of the exhibition. Thereby, the people will be more aware of the glorious and heroic historical traditions of the nation and enjoy the cultural achievements as a spiritual festival of the country.

The Prime Minister emphasized: The exhibition "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" deeply reflects and is the crystallization of the contributions and dedication of the entire Party, people and army throughout the glorious and heroic 80-year history of the Vietnamese Revolution, with the very active, proactive and creative participation of Party agencies at the Central level, agencies of the National Assembly, all levels, sectors, localities, and representatives of the business community in the process of organization and implementation.

The Prime Minister requested that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism preside over and coordinate with ministries, branches, localities and enterprises to continue to carefully prepare and organize well all exhibition activities, art programs, conferences, exchanges, meetings, forums, etc.

Through that, domestic people and international friends can experience, feel, and be proud of the country's achievements and enjoy the results of the National Exhibition Center as a new symbol of the Capital and the whole country.
