Gold bars on July 9 decreased by 400,000 VND/tael, falling below the 121 million VND mark.

(GLO)- The domestic gold market this morning (July 9) fell below the 121 million VND/tael mark after only 1 day of price increase. Currently, the average listed price of gold bars is at 118.6-120.6 million VND/tael.

This morning, major domestic enterprises simultaneously listed gold bar prices lower than yesterday's trading session. Specifically: Bao Tin Minh Chau, PNJ, SJC, DOJI all listed prices at 118.6-120.6 million VND/tael.

Phu Quy enterprise alone is listing the buying and selling prices at 117.9-120.6 million VND/tael; Mi Hong lists the buying price at 119.4 million VND, 200,000 VND lower than the general level.

The price of gold rings also turned down. Bao Tin Minh Chau is listed at 115.2-118.2 million VND/tael. Phu Quy Enterprise listed 114-117 million VND/tael; Mi Hong listed 115-116.5 million VND/tael; DOJI listed 115-117 million VND/tael.

Spot gold prices on the world market decreased by 0.9% in the past 24 hours, equivalent to a decrease of 30.12 USD/ounce.

With the domestic gold bar price increasing and the world gold price listed at Kitco at 3,303.02 USD/ounce (equivalent to about 104.8 million VND/tael converted according to Vietcombank exchange rate, excluding taxes and fees), the domestic gold price is about 16.2 million VND/tael higher than the world gold price.
