Vietnam Women's Team Receives Equipment Support from FIFA Ahead of World Cup

On the eve of the historic tournament of the Vietnam Women's Team, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team received support equipment directly provided by the World Football Federation (FIFA).

Today, July 13, the Vietnam Women's National Team received equipment provided by the World Football Federation (FIFA) during the 2023 Women's World Cup in New Zealand and Australia.

Specifically, in order to create the best conditions for the training and competition of the teams, FIFA has provided equipment including: ice boxes, water bottles, training bags, competition balls, tournament stamps on the players' competition uniforms...

In addition, other training equipment will be provided directly by FIFA at the team's main training ground in the coming days.

The Vietnam Women's Team traveled to New Zealand two weeks earlier than the official start time of the 2023 World Cup in the hope of quickly adapting to the weather conditions there.

Sharing at the training session on the afternoon of July 13, captain Huynh Nhu said: "Currently, the health of the whole team is very good and we are actively preparing for the match against Spain. With the attention of FIFA and the Vietnam Football Federation, the team has excellent living conditions."

The number one striker of Vietnamese women's football added: "Before that, the team also had a useful training trip in Germany with friendly matches. This will be an opportunity for the whole team to gain experience and learn, thereby preparing best for the upcoming tournament."

At 7:30 a.m. on July 14 ( Hanoi time), the Vietnam Women's Team will have a friendly match against the Spain Women's Team at McLennan Park Stadium in Auckland (New Zealand). This is a match that will be held behind closed doors to keep the teams' information confidential before the 2023 World Cup Finals begin.
