The story of starting a business from the difficult beginnings to building their own brand has created motivation for many other young people on their journey to establish themselves and their careers.
Returning to his hometown after serving in the police force, Pham Duc Huy (28 years old, residing in Pong Drang commune) decided to follow in his parents' footsteps with the beekeeping profession.
In mid-2021, when the COVID-19 outbreak disrupted traditional distribution channels, Mr. Huy quickly switched to online sales. He livestreamed the process of harvesting and processing honey at the farm. This not only helped consumers understand the production process but also cleared up doubts about honey quality. This creative approach helped increase revenue by 20%, opening up a stable consumption channel in the middle of the epidemic season.
In 2023, the brand "Trai Nha Huy Coffee Flower Honey" was certified as 3-star OCOP, helping the family expand the market to other retail stores and OCOP product display points.

Thanks to the brand standing firmly in the market, from the beginning of 2025 until now, he has consumed 28,000 liters of raw and refined honey, while creating jobs for 1 main worker, with an income of 6 million VND/month and 3 seasonal workers, with an income of 5 - 7 million VND/month.
"It was not easy for me to maintain and develop my family's traditional profession during the pandemic. But at that time, I thought that if I did not quickly grasp the opportunity, it would pass me by. I chose to tell the story of beekeeping, helping customers to directly see the process and how to create delicious drops of honey. I feel proud that I did not give up," Huy shared about his entrepreneurial journey.
Born and raised in Ea Hleo commune, Ms. Nguyen Thi Cong Linh (born in 1995) early revealed her passion for business. After getting married and moving to Krong Buk commune to live, in 2019, she decided to start a business with dried and cracked macadamia products when she realized that this agricultural product in the locality did not have a stable output.
Lack of experience and investment in substandard machinery caused Ms. Linh to lose nearly 100 million VND in the first year. Undaunted, she persevered in learning, reinvesting in standard machinery systems and perfecting processing techniques. In 2020, she opened her first factory with an area of 200 m². By 2022, she continued to open a second factory to meet the increasing consumption demand.
In addition to macadamia, Ms. Linh also expanded her business to durian, perilla, and betel leaves to supply to processing factories. Notably, in 2023, the product "Dak Lak Macadamia Cong Linh" was recognized as achieving 3-star OCOP, helping her easily reach potential customers compared to previous wholesale customers.

In early 2025, her family decided to establish Cong Linh Agricultural Products Import-Export Company Limited. In addition to creating a stable income for her family, she also created stable jobs for 20-25 local workers with an income of 6-8 million VND/person/month. Not stopping there, realizing the potential of U Hong lychee in the locality, in May 2025, she continued to expand her business and purchased and sold 100 tons of lychee. At the same time, she developed more dried lychee products to increase the value of local agricultural products and create seasonal jobs for more than 100 local workers with an income of 400,000 - 500,000 VND/person/day.
“I hope my business will not only be profitable, but also be a support for people to feel secure in their production. I hope many young people will boldly start their own businesses, because our hometown's agricultural products still have a lot of untapped potential,” Linh confided.
The start-up story of Ms. Nguyen Thi Cong Linh and Mr. Pham Duc Huy is a living proof of the spirit of “dare to think, dare to do” right on familiar land. From their bold steps, they not only help them reap success but also contribute to creating jobs, promoting the local economy , spreading the aspiration for sustainable development to the community.
