Awarding decisions on personnel work to 85 officers

On the morning of July 9, the Standing Committee of the Military Party Committee of An Giang province held a conference to announce and award decisions on personnel work to 85 officers.

Colonel Nguyen Van Hien, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of An Giang Provincial Military Command, presented the decision to the officers.

The conference announced and presented the decision of the Military Region 9 Command on the retirement of cadres according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP, dated December 31, 2024 of the Government and the promotion of military ranks and salary increase of policy cadres for 85 cadres.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Van Hien, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Military Command of An Giang province, affirmed that the province's merger is a major policy of the Party and State to build a streamlined, strong, efficient, effective and efficient apparatus; creating new dynamism, new potential, new space for development in both socio-economic and national defense and security. In particular, there is the settlement of early retirement regimes and policies for cadres who wish to retire. Up to now, the comrades have been officially retired, promoted in military rank and raised in salary according to the prescribed regime by the Party, State and army.

Colonel Nguyen Van Hien said that during their working time, regardless of their positions, the comrades always maintained their political mettle, revolutionary ethics, and absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland, and the People. They contributed their intelligence and strength to the cause of building and protecting the unit, building the army, and national defense.

The Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the An Giang Provincial Military Command hopes that in the coming time, comrades will continue to promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, contribute to the locality where they reside, be a bridge connecting the people and the military organization; always pay attention to and contribute ideas to building the unit, and educate the next generation of young people to fulfill their tasks well.
