On July 6, in Brazil, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with leaders of the country's leading economic groups to promote cooperation in areas such as aviation, biofuel production, agriculture, food processing and distribution, etc.
Meeting the Prime Minister, Mr. Fábio Maia de Oliveira, representative of JBS - the world's leading corporation in the field of food processing, with representative offices in 24 countries and territories - said that they have established 2 companies in Vietnam operating in the fields of frozen food distribution and leather production.

Vietnam and Brazil upgraded their relationship to a Strategic Partnership in November 2024. Based on the foundation of the relationship between the two countries, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hopes that Brazilian enterprises, including JBS Group, will continue to pay attention and expand investment and business cooperation in the Vietnamese market.

This is to make the most of Vietnam's 17 free trade agreements with more than 60 leading economies in the world.
Vietnam is promoting negotiations towards signing free trade agreements with Brazil and the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR). In addition, the Prime Minister also received the leaders of Granja Fujikura Company - a high-tech agricultural farm in Brazil, part of the Granja Fujikura system originating from Japan.
Mr. Wiliam Shuhei Fujikura, Director of Fujikura Company, said that this year, they are surveying Vietnam and are cooperating with Trong Khoi Company to develop quail farming in the Vietnamese and Asian markets. He wants the Government, ministries, and localities to create conditions for the company to cooperate effectively in Vietnam in the field of quail farming and large-scale high-tech agricultural development.
