The program is organized to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Tourism Industry (July 9, 1960 - July 9, 2025), an important milestone marking the strong development journey of the industry. This is not only an opportunity to look back on the past, but also an opportunity to arouse pride, innovation and creativity, together towards the goal of creating a professional, modern, sustainable and unique tourism industry.
At the same time, the contest is also a practical activity in response to the 2025 Tourism Development Stimulus Program launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Through the contest, we aim to promote digital communication, spreading the image of the country and people of Vietnam to domestic and foreign tourists with a modern approach, suitable for new trends.
Taking place over a period of 3 months, with the message “Go to chill, feel to love” , the contest inspires the passion to explore, enjoy and record the beauty of Vietnam in each individual’s own way. From majestic natural scenery, vast islands, cultural heritage, unique regional cuisine to daily life and the friendliness and hospitality of Vietnamese people, all can become materials to create vivid, intimate and inspiring works. Videos can have personal colors, unique travel stories or record new perspectives on familiar destinations, thereby contributing to enriching the picture of Vietnam tourism in the new era.
With a total prize value of up to 100 million VND, the contest is expected to attract thousands of video entries from all over the country. Videos can be presented in English or with English subtitles to enhance accessibility to international audiences. In addition to valuable prizes, outstanding works have the opportunity to be introduced on the channel. Official YouTube of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.
According to Mr. Hoang Quoc Hoa, Director of the Tourism Information Center (Vietnam National Administration of Tourism): “The YouTube Shorts travel video creation contest with the theme “Vietnam: Go to love!” is not only a playground for the community of travel enthusiasts and digital content creators, but also an effort by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to enhance the application of technology and digital transformation to support tourism promotion. With the strong spread of the global online platform YouTube, we expect people, especially young people and content creators, to actively participate in promoting the image of Vietnam tourism through their own experiences and perspectives. Each submitted video is not only a contest entry, but also a positive message that contributes to inspiring travel, connecting the community, and honoring the unique values of Vietnam on the world tourism map.”
Ms. Mukpim Anantachai - Director of YouTube Partnerships in Vietnam and Thailand shared: "Vietnamese content creators are truly leading the trend of digital storytelling, helping to spread the essence of Vietnam to international friends.
