Provincial Social Policy Bank signed a trust agreement to lend to poor households and policy beneficiaries.

On July 9, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) Lao Cai Branch held a conference to deploy the agreement and sign a joint document on the implementation of entrusted lending to poor households and policy beneficiaries and deploy tasks for the remaining months of 2025.

At the Conference, the Provincial Social Policy Bank implemented the agreement and signed a document of entrustment to 4 provincial socio -political organizations including the Women's Union, Farmers' Association, Veterans' Association, Provincial Youth Union and commune-level socio-political organizations to carry out a number of tasks in the lending process for poor households and other policy beneficiaries.

Specifically, the work of directing, propagating and mobilizing social policy credit to all classes of people; mobilizing members to comply with the operating regulations of savings and loan groups, using loans for the right purposes and effectively; the work of inspecting and supervising the entrusted activities of subordinates; the work of training and coaching for cadres to monitor the entrusted activities of socio-political organizations, etc.

Mr. Tran Quang Son, Director of the Bank for Social Policies, Lao Cai Province Branch, spoke at the Conference.

Provincial socio-political organizations are responsible for guiding, inspecting and supervising commune-level political organizations and associations in managing and using entrusted fee sources in accordance with regulations; coordinating and effectively integrating social policy credit with local socio -economic development programs and projects.

The Lao Cai Provincial Bank for Social Policies and socio-political organizations signed a joint document on the implementation of entrusted lending to poor households and policy beneficiaries.

In the last months of the year, Lao Cai Provincial Bank for Social Policies will focus on mobilizing deposits from organizations and individuals in the market to promptly meet the capital needs for disbursement of policy credit programs, ensuring liquidity of the entire system; promptly disburse according to the credit growth plan for 2025; promptly support the implementation of national target programs; focus on debt management and collection supervision, implement solutions to improve credit quality, manage and handle risky debts.
