For example, Dabaco Vietnam Group (stock code DBC) estimated its 6-month revenue at about VND12,537 billion, up 7.3% over the same period in 2024. As a result, the company achieved a record after-tax profit of VND1,013 billion, 4.6 times higher and exceeding the plan for the whole year.

Specifically, production output reached more than 3.84 million tons of products, exceeding the set plan by 16%; consumption output reached 3.83 million tons, exceeding the plan by 17%. Total revenue recorded more than 69,365 billion VND, exceeding the plan by 22%; pre-tax profit was estimated at about 800 billion VND, exceeding the plan by 93%. Thus, BSR has completed production and financial targets for the year in just the first 6 months of the year.

Another company, Tan Son Nhat Airport Services Joint Stock Company (stock code SAS), also had high profit growth. At the recent annual shareholders' meeting, the company's leaders said that revenue in the first 6 months of the year was estimated at about VND1,531 billion, equivalent to 51% of the yearly plan, but profit was more than VND280 billion, double the same period last year.

Similarly, Vietnam Airlines Corporation ( Vietnam Airlines , stock code HVN) also confidently said at the shareholders' meeting that the airline's production and business activities in the first half of 2025 were very positive. Accumulated pre-tax profit for the first 6 months is estimated at over VND 4,000 billion, consolidated profit is also over VND 5,000 billion. Vietnam Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex, stock code VGT) estimated consolidated revenue at VND 9,035 billion, fulfilling 49% of the annual plan and increasing by 8% over the same period in 2024. Consolidated profit is nearly VND 556 billion, equal to 61% of the annual plan and increasing by 97% over the same period last year.
