The parade blocks at Ba Dinh Square showed solemnity and national pride in the second general practice session on the evening of August 24.

Before the general training session started at 8 p.m., the groups standing at Ba Dinh Square had already gone to the standing area to prepare for the ceremony.

At exactly 8 p.m., the A80 parade rehearsal began. Leading the formation was the national emblem of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, symbolizing the independence, sovereignty , unity and territorial integrity of the Vietnamese Fatherland. Immediately following were the Party flags, the national flags; the car carrying the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh and the parade groups.
