This is one of the activities to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, as well as Decision No. 997/QD-BKHCN of the Minister of Science and Technology on the list of administrative procedures eligible for providing online public services.
The Intellectual Property Office identifies digital transformation in administrative procedure settlement as a key task, a breakthrough solution to comprehensively innovate operations. The goal is that by the end of 2025, 85% of industrial property registration applications will be submitted online, moving towards 100% of eligible procedures being provided online throughout the process.
Mr. Tran Quang Hung, Deputy Director of the Intellectual Property Office, affirmed that the deployment of online public services is not only an inevitable requirement in the national digital transformation process, but also an opportunity to improve the quality of service for people and businesses. The Intellectual Property Office is committed to accompanying organizations and individuals in accessing and using online public services conveniently and effectively, towards a modern, transparent and people-centered administration.
At the training sessions, Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang, Deputy Chief of Office of the Intellectual Property Office and Ms. Dau Thi Hong Tiep, Specialist of the Information Technology Center, Intellectual Property Office, introduced an overview of online public services, clearly stating the benefits, transparency and convenience in submitting applications, paying fees/charges, and receiving results online. Users only need to register an account at https://dichvucong.ipvietnam.gov.vn, then can conveniently carry out the procedures through the following steps: Selecting procedures, declaring information, attaching documents, signing, paying online and tracking processing status.
In addition, the Department's experts provided detailed instructions on how to handle arising situations, especially configuring digital signatures to ensure the legal value of electronic records.
According to statistics, in July 2025, more than 5,000 industrial property applications were submitted online, accounting for over 50% of the total number of applications. With continued training, communication and improvement of information technology infrastructure, this rate is expected to increase sharply in the last months of the year, contributing to realizing the industry's digital transformation goal.
The training sessions not only help organizations and individuals master the online application process but also bring practical benefits: saving time and costs, increasing transparency, and facilitating businesses and people in registering and protecting intellectual property.
The Intellectual Property Office will continue to conduct many training courses in the coming time, aiming to spread and improve the effectiveness of using online public services nationwide.
