Memorial service to commemorate and pay tribute to heroic martyrs at Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery

On August 25, at the Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery, Quan Am Pagoda, Ha Giang Ward 2, in coordination with the Green Leaf Fund and Dong Cao Pagoda (Hung Yen), organized a grand ceremony to commemorate and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the cause of protecting the country's borders. Attending the ceremony were Venerable Thich Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee and Head of the Charity Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Tuyen Quang Province.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, delegates, monks, Buddhists and people burned incense and offered flowers to express their deep gratitude for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs. The ceremony is an activity of profound humanistic significance, contributing to educating revolutionary traditions, arousing patriotism and responsibility to preserve and protect the Fatherland among all classes of people.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented 1,000 gifts to war invalids in the province, each worth over 500,000 VND, showing the affection, care and gratitude of benefactors to those who have contributed to the country.
