Along with that, the moment the guy gives his girlfriend a warm look makes the viewer "melt".

Netizens left many interesting comments such as: "A80 will definitely be a lifelong memory for the young couple"; "If they are destined to be together, the couple will have happy stories to tell their children and grandchildren in the future"; "What could be happier than walking together in the historic Ba Dinh Square on a day when the whole country is celebrating"...

Meet thanks to A50

Nguyen Khanh Van (from Quang Binh , now Quang Tri province) is proud to have been in the parade twice, marching to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, the reunification of the country and the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2. In mission A80, she belonged to the female militia of Vietnamese ethnic groups.

Khanh Van and Duc Phuc both participated in the military parade and the peace parade twice.

To participate in the important mission, Khanh Van must meet the criteria of height, health, style... After days of hard training "overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain", the girl from Quang Binh and her teammates confidently strode across the historic Ba Dinh Square, walking among the people during the parade rehearsals.

“It was a beautiful moment that I will never forget in my life,” Van shared.

In this proud journey, there is also a beautiful memory that Van wants to keep for herself. That is the budding love with the army officer, who also stood in the ranks of the parade twice, marching to celebrate the great holidays of April 30 and September 2.

That guy is Le Duc Phuc (from Thanh Hoa ), an army officer.

The couple met in February 2025 when they were both on mission A50. Van was in the Northern female militia at that time, while Phuc was in the army officer group. During the first training session in Mieu Mon ( Hanoi ), seeing the image of a male soldier in military uniform, standing upright in the ranks, with a strong face and body, Khanh Van was especially impressed.

After the training session, they had the opportunity to interact with each other. Unlike when he was on duty, Duc Phuc was usually cheerful and friendly. From their short conversation, the couple gradually developed feelings for each other.

“Because of the nature of our work, we had to focus on our tasks, so we didn’t have much chance to talk. It wasn’t until we arrived in Ho Chi Minh City that we met more often,” Van said.

On April 18, after the practice session, Phuc went to the girls' block to meet Van. For the first time after a series of days of nurturing his feelings, Phuc boldly confessed: "I am an introvert, but since meeting you, I feel much happier and more open. Let's give each other a chance, okay?"

The simple but sincere words moved Khanh Van. She responded with a tight grip.

Confirming the dating news, Phuc freely expressed his feelings. After each practice session, he texted and called to ask about Van's health. During practice sessions, rehearsals... even though the two blocks were far apart, he still took some time to visit his girlfriend, bringing a pack of tissues and a bag of candy for her to use whenever she was tired.

Love blooms thanks to A80

After completing the A50 mission, both of them returned to their units. Due to the nature of their work, they could not talk much, whether in person or on the phone. However, they always looked out for each other.

When they received the news that they would be joining the A80 mission together, the couple was happy and proud. They were both happy to once again participate in the parade, marching to celebrate the great national holiday and to have another chance to meet each other.

The love is gentle and rustic but makes Van feel warm.

When gathering at the Mieu Mon Training Center (Hanoi), they still take advantage of their free time after training to meet. Each meeting only lasts 5-10 minutes, the longest is 30 minutes, sometimes just asking a few questions makes them happy.

“We proactively made friends with each other’s managers to occasionally ask for some time to meet. They were very considerate and often made arrangements for us during breaks,” Van said.

On the day of the practice session at Ba Dinh Square (August 21), even though he was already in the car preparing to return to the group's resting place, Phuc still opened the car door and looked for his girlfriend. The moment they saw each other, even though it was just a fleeting moment, Van felt strangely warm.

For the past 5 months, Phuc and Van have been both lovers and teammates. Their love has blossomed thanks to two important missions for the country. Van feels happy and proud.

Encouraged by their teammates, family and the people of the country, the couple worked even harder for the official parade day. Along with that was the promise of a longer meeting after completing the mission.
