A day at the new Hai Phong City Political

At 5:45, all kinds of cars from 29 seats, 16 seats, 7 seats, 4 seats started rolling from the departments, branches and pick-up points. This is a shared car trip for those who need to rent together or private cars.

At nearly 7 a.m., when the buses arrived, the work at the Hai Phong City Political - Administrative Center began.

On the bus, everyone took a quick nap. Many others were still chatting animatedly about their families, children at home, and what they planned to do at work today...

Funny stories and deep sleep make the road seem shorter. People also feel more refreshed and relaxed to start a new working day.

Crossing Binh Bridge, the new Hai Phong City Political - Administrative Center gradually appears before our eyes. This is the destination of many cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the new Hai Phong City.

Religious officials from the old Hai Duong Department of Home Affairs and the old Hai Phong City, now the new Hai Phong City Department of Home Affairs, sit together in the same office.

The road was not congested so the bus arrived at 7:50, just enough time to get ready for work on time.

When we arrived, some workers were still eating their breakfast of sticky rice to prepare for work. They were finishing the unfinished items on the construction site to create better working conditions for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers.

The province has just merged, the two-level local government apparatus has just come into operation, so the work has encountered some difficulties and obstacles.

Just like a working day in other offices, the office environment at the Hai Phong City Political - Administrative Center is sometimes quiet, sometimes lively, filled with laughter, sometimes tense and filled with frowning, anxious faces.

At noon, many people ordered lunch to come back to the headquarters to eat together.

At around 11:30, some women took the opportunity to call home to see how their children and family were doing and how they were preparing lunch. After all, it was summer vacation and their parents had just gone away to work for a few days, so they couldn't help but worry about their children's situation at home.

The agencies also prepare to order lunch, some people bring their lunch to eat because there are not many restaurants nearby. Some people who have rented a house go home to cook, rest, then return to the office in the early afternoon, starting work during office hours.

On the afternoon of July 4, leaders of the Hai Phong City Party Committee inspected the operation of the two-level local government in some communes and wards. Therefore, some officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers started working earlier than usual.

Some vehicles departed at 12:30 from the Hai Phong City Political - Administrative Center to some communes and wards in the old Hai Duong to prepare for the inspection.

At around 1:45 p.m., Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau was present at the An Phu Commune Public Administration Service Center (at the headquarters of An Lam Commune, Nam Sach District, former Hai Duong Province) to work.

After that, the delegation visited Ai Quoc ward. After the inspection, some officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of Hai Duong returned to the Hai Phong City Political - Administrative Center, some people took advantage of the last minute to survey and work at the old Hai Duong facilities.

For those who are not home, a folding bed is enough to catch some sleep, preparing for an effective and alert afternoon of work.

Meanwhile, work at the Hai Phong City Political and Administrative Center continued as usual. Around 5 p.m., buses gathered in the lobby to pick up officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers to go home.

Return times are not as uniform as departure times. Some buses return early, some return late because some people finish work early, some late, or there are unexpected events, meetings, etc.

The officers returned home to their families after a day of traveling, working and resting, preparing for new journeys that await.
