The attacking ability of Nguyen Van Quoc Duy and his teammates was also not effective, so they lost 17/25 to their opponents.

In the opening match of the first round of the SEA V.League men's volleyball tournament, the defending champion Thailand won 3-1 against the Indonesian team.
