Coffee prices rise again

Specifically, the September 2025 delivery period was 284.05 cents/lb, the December 2025 delivery period was 279.05 cents/lb, the March 2026 delivery period was 274.15 cents/lb and the May 2026 delivery period was 269.25 cents/lb.
At the end of the trading session, the price of Brazilian Arabica coffee also decreased, but the decrease was within a narrow range, with a decrease of 1.50 - 5.10 USD/ton compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 339.00 - 353.75 USD/ton. Update on domestic coffee prices at 5:00 a.m. today, July 10, 2025. Domestic coffee prices increased again, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday's trading session. Currently, the average coffee purchase price in key areas is at 93,700 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Dak Nong province are purchasing coffee at 93,600 VND/kg. A slight increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, coffee price in Dak Lak province is 93,800 VND/kg, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province increased by VND1,000/kg compared to yesterday and were traded at VND93,600/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices increased by VND1,000/kg compared to yesterday and are at VND93,300/kg.
Coffee exports continue to be a bright spot in Vietnam's economy in the first half of 2025. In June alone, Vietnam exported 130,000 tons of coffee, earning 741.1 million USD.
In the first 6 months of the year, exports reached nearly 954 thousand tons with a record turnover of 5.45 billion USD, up 5.3% in volume and 67.5% in value compared to the same period last year. According to the forecast from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), in the 2025-2026 crop year, Vietnam is expected to produce about 31 million 60kg bags of coffee.
The USDA said Vietnam’s output increase was mainly due to robusta coffee. Robusta output is forecast to reach a record 24.1 million bags, up 15% from the previous crop year thanks to favorable weather in key growing regions.
Previously, farmers converting coffee land to durian and pepper trees caused coffee production to decline. However, as coffee prices have increased again while durian and pepper prices have cooled down, some areas are returning to growing coffee as a staple crop.
Pepper prices remain stable

Similarly, pepper prices in Ho Chi Minh City are also stable, currently purchased at 140,000 VND/kg.
Pepper prices in Dak Lak are stable and unchanged compared to yesterday's trading session. Currently, pepper prices in this locality are purchased by traders at 142,000 VND/kg.

Vietnam's pepper export market has stabilized and remained unchanged compared to many previous increases. Currently, the export price of Vietnamese black pepper is at 6,440 USD/ton for 500 g/l; 550 g/l is at 6,570 USD/ton and the price of white pepper is at 9,150 USD/ton.
According to experts, after many days of alternating increases and decreases, the pepper market tends to move sideways, reflecting cautious sentiment in the context of slowing buying power and profit-taking activities starting to take place.

According to the Vietnam Pepper and Spices Association (VPSA), citing Comexstat data, in June 2025, Brazil exported 5,758 tons of pepper, earning 66.4 million USD. Vietnam is the largest market for Brazilian pepper, reaching 17,563 tons, accounting for 35.3% of total exports, up nearly 200% over the same period last year. Other major markets include the UAE, India, Senegal and Morocco. The average export price in the first 6 months of the year reached 6,224 USD/ton, up 63.4% over the same period in 2024.
