National Assembly delegates visit and give gifts to war invalids' families in Thap Muoi commune

DTO - On July 4, Mr. Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Thap province; Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Hoa - Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Social Affairs visited and presented gifts to families of war invalids in Thap Muoi commune on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27.

The delegation visited Mr. Pham Van Chinh's family.

The delegation visited the family of Mr. Pham Van Chinh, born in 1963, 82% disabled; and Mr. Dinh Van Bach, born in 1959, 85% disabled. Currently, the disabled families are living in stable houses, their family life mainly depends on the monthly preferential allowance of disabled soldiers and farming with small grocery stores.

Visiting the families of war invalids, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Quoc Phong, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Thap Province, kindly inquired about their health and life and presented meaningful gifts. At the same time, he expressed his gratitude for the contributions and dedication of war invalids to the cause of fighting and protecting the country.

Representatives of the families expressed their emotion, joy and gratitude for the attention and encouragement of the Party committees and local authorities in the work of caring for and repaying gratitude.
