On the evening of July 1, at the Ariyana International Convention Palace in Da Nang , the film "Love in Vietnam" was premiered within the framework of the third Da Nang Asian Film Festival 2025 (DANAFF 2025).
The event attracted the participation of many guests, artists, filmmakers and representatives of international organizations.
“Love in Vietnam” is the first film co-production project between Vietnam and India, marking a new step in the cultural cooperation between the two countries.
The film was directed by Indian director Rahhat Shah Kazmi, with many scenes recorded in Da Nang city, especially at the Furama-Ariyana International Tourism Complex, creating a wonderful connection between cinema and the beauty of Da Nang.
Speaking at the premiere, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City Nguyen Thi Hoi An emphasized: “Love in Vietnam” with the message “Bringing Vietnamese stories to the world” is a film that not only carries the breath of Vietnamese love and culture, but is also a symbol of the wonderful exchange between the two cinemas of Vietnam and India.
As one of the film's filming locations, Da Nang city is honored to contribute to telling this sweet story.
With its charming natural beauty, friendly people and identity, Da Nang has been and will always be an attractive destination on the international cinema map.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoi An, promoting culture and tourism through cinema is an inevitable trend and one of the orientations that Da Nang city will promote in the coming time.
This aims to enhance the city's brand recognition, attract tourists, preserve and promote local culture, and open up opportunities for trade and cooperation between localities, businesses and film producers.

The story of the film “Love in Vietnam” is about Manav, a young Punjabi man with a dream of becoming a singer, who is sent to Vietnam by his uncle. Here, he falls in love with Linh - a mysterious Vietnamese female artist.
Simmi, Manav's childhood friend, pursues him to Vietnam, creating a love triangle that leads to Linh's disappearance. After years of fruitless searching, just before his wedding to Simmi, Manav discovers the truth about Linh - a discovery that turns his life upside down.
Audience member Thanh Nga, a movie lover in Da Nang city, shared her feelings after the screening: “I was truly moved by the gentle, profound but inspiring story that the film brings.
The images of Da Nang appear very beautiful and real. The blend of Vietnamese and Indian culture is shown very subtly, making the film both familiar and new."
At the premiere, many other audiences also expressed their impressions of the vivid images of Da Nang's nature and people, from the sunny coastline to famous landmarks.
The harmonious combination of Vietnamese and Indian cultural elements is clearly expressed through costumes, music and emotional values, bringing a unique and emotional cinematic experience.
Sharing about the filming locations in the film, Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh, Vice President of Da Nang Tourism Association, said that choosing filming locations with strong cultural identity such as Taya House or the beautiful landscape of Furama Resort Da Nang not only helps convey genuine emotions to the audience, but also contributes to affirming Vietnam's strengths in combining tourism and cinema.
“These images, when filmed, will create a strong influence, attracting the attention of international friends, thereby opening up great opportunities for Da Nang and Vietnam to become destinations for international film projects in the future.
This is a very potential direction for developing sustainable tourism through a bridge between culture and art,” said Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh.
