On July 3, information was posted on social networks that Nam Dan 2 High School ( Nghe An ) lowered its admission score to 2.5 points, causing a stir in public opinion.
Accordingly, this school announced that the admission score for grade 10 and the second admission period for the 2025-2026 school year is 2.5 points, including priority and incentive points, if any.
The successful candidates are students who have submitted their first choice application to the school but have not been admitted. Admission time is from July 4, 2025.

Previously, Nam Dan 2 High School announced admission for the first choice to grade 10 with an admission score of 9.5 points for 3 subjects.
The above announcement of lowering scores surprised many people because the school's admission score was too low.
Mr. Pham Xuan Phu, Principal of Nam Dan 2 High School, confirmed the above admission notice issued by the school.
Mr. Phu said that next school year, the school was assigned 450 students, but the number of applications for the first choice is not enough and there is a shortage of about 40 students, so additional enrollment must be conducted.
Explaining the low standard score for the second choice, Mr. Phu said that, in principle, candidates who have graduated from junior high school and do not have a failing score (0 points) in the 10th grade entrance exam are eligible for admission.
Mr. Phu also said that in the second round of admission, many students had high scores, not all of them had such low scores.
