Dong Nai exports nearly 4.7 billion USD to the United States

According to the Dong Nai Statistics Office, in the first 6 months of 2025, Dong Nai's export turnover to the US reached nearly 4.7 billion USD, accounting for more than 35.5% of the province's total export turnover. The US is still Dong Nai's largest export market. The items that businesses in the province export a lot to this market are: footwear, textiles, textile fibers, computers, electronics and components, means of transport and spare parts.

Recently, to balance trade between Vietnam and the US, Dong Nai enterprises have increased imports of goods from this country. The groups of goods Dong Nai enterprises import a lot from the US are: cotton, animal feed, corn, machinery, equipment and spare parts, and chemicals.

Businesses in Dong Nai are also hoping that the Central Government will negotiate with the US to reduce the corresponding tax on imported goods from Vietnam to below 20%. This will reduce the impact on Vietnamese businesses when exporting to the US.
