Dinosaur World: Rebirth - Honoring the desire to live of all species

Jurassic World: Rebirth promises to be a blockbuster summer 2025.

The dinosaur movie ecosystem began with Jurassic Park, which was first released in 1993. This time, with the 7th film in the series, can the erratic, ferocious giant creatures that once ruled the earth coexist with humans?

The mystery hidden from dinosaurs

Closing the events from the previous part (Jurassic World: Dominion/Jurassic World Dominion in 2022), humans and dinosaurs gradually live together peacefully, but the modern ecosystem is not suitable for dinosaurs to live. They have to migrate to Dino Land - a tropical strip around the equator, making this place the most dangerous land on the planet.

Dinosaur blood samples could lead to a revolutionary heart drug that would be hugely lucrative for whoever controls it. So Big Pharma tycoon Martin Krebs (Rupert Friend) sets up an illegal expedition to extract DNA from the amber of three giant dinosaurs that lived on land, in the sea, and in the air.

The expedition led by former special agent Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson), along with biologist Dr. Henry Loomis (Jonathan Bailey), mercenary Duncan Kincaid (Mahershala Ali)... unfortunately got stranded on an isolated island with Delgado's family (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo). In a moment of danger, Zora's group discovered the mysteries hidden behind past experiments, the result of which produced the ferocious mutant dinosaurs they are facing.

Will humanity learn the eternal lesson that the desire to live is a precious asset of all species, not just of one individual?

Desire to survive

As the name of the film suggests, giant creatures suddenly “revive”, appearing from the dust and darkness, from the jungles and rivers with majestic landscapes of both ancient and modern times. The expedition falls into a valley where giant dinosaurs leisurely graze, reminding the audience of Steven Spielberg’s original work. Then, the appearance of the mutant dinosaur Distortus Rex kicks off the intense action scenes.

The Delgado family is a highlight of the new film. The connection between father and son, resolving internal conflicts through the little dinosaur Dolores carries the message that humans and dinosaurs can sympathize and resonate with benefits. Producer Frank Marshall said: "We wanted to make a new film that honors the spirit of the original Jurassic Park, combining a world with a completely new cast of characters, enhancing the horror monster element, survival adventure with ferocious dinosaurs."

Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey play the two main characters Zora and Henry, turning the opposing relationship between an arrogant veteran and a scientist into a romantic and idealistic one. On NBC's Today show, Scarlett Johansson excitedly shared: "I watched Jurassic Park when I was 10 years old and was fascinated. It was a part of my childhood and I've wanted to be in the series for the past 30 years. It's so happy to have a dream come true."
