On July 1, Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision on organization and personnel work after merging the three provinces of Ha Nam , Nam Dinh, and Ninh Binh, naming the new province Ninh Binh according to the Resolution of the Party Central Committee.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung (born in 1976, hometown Vu Ban district, Nam Dinh ), member of the Provincial Party Committee, was appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh province; 6 Deputy Directors include Mr./Ms.: Dinh Van Kham, Ngo Quang Tue, Bui Van Khiet, Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet, Dinh Quoc Truong, Nguyen Van Thuan.
The head office of the Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh is located at 742 Tran Hung Dao Street, Hoa Lu Ward, Ninh Binh Province.

Informing Education and Times Newspaper, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Chief of Office of Ninh Binh Department of Education and Training said that in the 2024-2025 school year, the whole province has 12,583 teachers at all levels; 62,465 preschool children; 141 primary schools with 91,978 students; 135 secondary schools with 66,376 students; 27 high schools with 32,237 students; 7 vocational education and continuing education centers with 5,435 students.
Before the merger, Nam Dinh province had 22,154 teachers at all levels; 99,443 preschool children; 228 primary schools with 163,497 students; 226 secondary schools with 128,211 students; 57 high schools with 63,253 students; 12 vocational education and continuing education centers with 10,850 students.

In Ha Nam, before the merger, the whole province had 11,694 teachers at all levels; 51,892 preschool children; 116 primary schools with 76,717 students; 110 secondary schools with 61,293 students; 26 high schools with 24,336 students; 6 vocational education and continuing education centers with 6,490 students.
As of June 2025: Ninh Binh province has 457/469 schools meeting national standards (accounting for 97.4%); Nam Dinh province has 678/728 schools meeting national standards, reaching a rate of 93.1%; Ha Nam province has 360/361 schools meeting standards - equivalent to 99.7%.
The entire Ninh Binh province (new) currently has 1,495/1,558 schools meeting national standards - accounting for 96%.
Regarding the scale of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in Ninh Binh province, the total number of candidates registered for the exam is 46,667, including 1,141 independent candidates (2018 General Education Program is 45,896 students; 2006 General Education Program is 771 students).

As of July 1, Ninh Binh province (new) has a total of 953,223 preschool children, secondary school students and continuing education students. Of which, 213,800 preschool children are in 503 schools; 488 primary schools with 332,192 students; 471 secondary schools with 255,880 students; 110 high schools with 119,826 students; 25 vocational education and continuing education centers with 23,775 students; 7,750 students in 20 inter-level schools.
