Taking place over 2 days, July 4-5, 2025, the 2nd International Conference on Language Development (The 2nd ICLD 2025) gathered 64 scientific reports from researchers, experts, and lecturers from 11 countries around the world, including: Australia, China, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Germany, Poland, Indonesia, Armenia, Ukraine, Malta, and Vietnam.

The conference was co-organized by Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), Silpakorn University (Thailand), Nueva Vizcaya State University (Philippines) and Shanghai Normal University (China).

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy - Vice President of TDTU said: "The workshop emphasized the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in languageeducation , and affirmed that the application of AI in language teaching is in line with the digital transformation trend, contributing to improving the quality of training and meeting the requirements of international integration in the field of education and training."

With the theme “Transforming Language Education: Wellness, Technology and Beyond”, the conference focuses on applying AI to build innovative teaching strategies, personalize the learning environment, and meet the needs and abilities of each learner. The conference also addressed solutions to ethical issues that arise when integrating AI into training. In addition, the issue of mental health and well-being for teachers and students during the teaching and learning process was also emphasized. The research results presented at the conference promise to contribute positively to the innovation of language teaching and learning methods, in line with the current development trend of education.

ICLD 2025 is not only a place to promote and expand academic networks to develop expertise, publish new scientific research works, encourage creative ideas in education and scientific research activities, but also a forum for exchange and cooperation between experts, researchers, and educational managers at home and abroad. Through discussion sessions and activities connecting academia with practice, the conference contributes to connecting schools with society and labor market needs, while creating a foundation for research ideas to be effectively applied in practice.
