Manh Duc said his Math score was 9.25; English score was 9.25 and Literature score was 7.25. His total admission score was 25.75 and he was admitted to Yen Hoa High School (with a standard score of 25). This school is in the top 10 schools with the highest standard scores in Hanoi this year.

Sharing after the exam, Duc expressed joy mixed with a bit of regret. The male student was happy because he reached his first wish, which was also his favorite top public school. However, the 10X also had some regrets because he could not be admitted to the 10th grade IT major at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, due to his orientation to take the specialized exam and spending time on reviewing a bit late, so he could not accelerate as expected.

"In the new stage of high school, I will pursue Natural Sciences - a field that I find suitable for my abilities and interests," Duc said.

Nguyen Manh Duc once caused a storm on social media when he took his younger sister to the 10th grade entrance exam site in Hanoi.

Previously, at the 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi, many people were moved by the image of a second grade girl waiting for her brother outside the school gate, her eyes full of anticipation. That was the younger sister of candidate Nguyen Manh Duc, a student of class 9A3, Dich Vong Hau Secondary School, Cau Giay, Hanoi.

Duc lives with his mother and younger sister. His grandparents are old and cannot help much. Because his mother is busy, Duc has to take his sister to the exam site and ask people to look after her. When he enters the exam room, Duc leaves his sister with volunteers or parents to look after her. A while later, the mother of the two children rides her bike to pick up her daughter and waits for her son to finish the exam.

The moment when the little sister waited for her brother in front of the gate of the 10th grade exam school in Hanoi was then widely shared, making many people feel touched and loved. "Amidst the pressure of the transfer exam, the simple story of the two brothers touched the hearts of many people"; "A small moment but enough to remind us that love and kindness are always present in this life";... are warm comments for the two brothers.

According to information from Mr. Phan Trung Nghia, homeroom teacher of class 9A3, Dich Vong Hau Secondary School, Duc was born in 2006, 4 years older than the candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam this year. In 8th grade, Duc had a family incident and had to drop out of school. For 3 consecutive years, despite the school's continuous encouragement, the male student has not been able to return to class.

It was not until 2023-2024 that Duc decided to return to school. Due to the long period of time he had to put his studies aside, Duc had difficulty adjusting to the new curriculum and keeping up with his friends. Undaunted, the male student was determined to excel, from a good student to an excellent student for two consecutive years, ranked first in his grade in the exam and was honored by the school.

On the fanpage of Dich Vong Hau Secondary School, when posting an article about this student, there was a paragraph that said: "The school is proud of Nguyen Manh Duc, a student who is not only talented, but also thoughtful and kind. Thank you for reminding us that maturity is when we know how to care for others, even when we are struggling for our own dreams...".
