Signing of Joint Document on implementing entrusted lending to poor households and policy beneficiaries

On the afternoon of July 9, the Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) Dak Lak Branch held a signing ceremony of a joint document on the implementation of entrusted lending to poor households and other policy beneficiaries with provincial-level socio-political organizations.

Attending the signing ceremony were Acting Director of the Bank for Social Policies, Dak Lak Branch, Dao Thai Hoa; Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Y Jan Buon Krong; Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union, To Thi Tam; Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Veterans Association, Tran Minh Tu; Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, Ya Toan Enuol, and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union, Luong Minh Tung.

According to the Joint Document, the Bank for Social Policies, Dak Lak Province Branch, has entrusted 4 socio -political organizations (Women's Union, Veterans Association, Farmers' Association and Provincial Youth Union) to carry out a number of tasks in the lending process for poor households and other policy beneficiaries, including: directing, propagating and mobilizing; inspecting and supervising entrusted activities; training, coaching and coordinating activities with the Bank for Social Policies.

In addition, the Joint Document also contains contents on the level of trust fee, trust fee rate, method of calculating and paying trust fee. At the same time, it stipulates the common responsibilities of the parties involved, the responsibilities of socio-political organizations and the Bank for Social Policies.

The leader of the Bank for Social Policies, Dak Lak Province Branch, said that currently, the total outstanding credit balance of policies jointly managed by socio-political organizations in the province has reached nearly 13,696 billion VND (accounting for 99.75% of the total outstanding balance).

The trust activities are carried out through 286 transaction points, with 6,253 savings and loan groups. The signing of the Joint Document aims to continue to effectively implement the trust contents through socio-political organizations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and timely response to the borrowing needs of poor households and other policy beneficiaries.
