According to NBC News , President Trump said on July 1 that Israel had "agreed to the necessary conditions" to complete a ceasefire in the conflict with Hamas in Gaza.
"US representatives had a productive meeting with Israel on July 1st regarding Gaza. Israel has agreed to the necessary conditions to complete a 60-day ceasefire. During that time, we will work with all parties to end the conflict," President Trump announced on Truth Social.

Times Of Israel reported that President Trump added that Qatar and Egypt would deliver the final proposal to Hamas.
"I hope, for the good of the Middle East, Hamas will accept this agreement," the White House chief continued, seemingly referring to a temporary ceasefire proposal that has been discussed for months.
The Israeli embassy in the US did not immediately comment and Hamas has not commented on Mr Trump's statement.
However, earlier on June 30, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said he would oppose any deal to end the fighting.

"The war in Gaza must continue until a decisive victory is achieved," Minister Bezalel Smotrich said, rejecting calls for a ceasefire or a negotiated settlement.
