Pig prices today, July 7, are stable in all three regions, except for An Giang , which slightly decreased by VND1,000/kg. The price level in the North and South continues to remain high.

The live hog market in the North this morning continued to maintain a stable state , with no new fluctuations compared to the previous day. The current price shows that supply and demand in the region are balanced, especially after many adjustment sessions in late June.

In key provinces such as Hanoi , Hung Yen, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, the price of live pigs is still commonly maintained at 68,000 VND/kg - this is also the price that has lasted continuously for more than a week.

Hai Phong continues to be the locality with the highest price in the region: 69,000 VND/kg, while the group of provinces such as Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh are anchored at a lower level: 67,000 VND/kg.

The Central Highlands region also recorded no new fluctuations today. Low prices continue to be maintained, with Gia Lai being the locality with the lowest price in the country: 65,000 VND/kg - lasting from the beginning of July until now.

Provinces such as Da Nang, Quang Nam, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Tri maintained the price at 67,000 - 68,000 VND/kg, with no signs of rebound. Khanh Hoa was a bright spot as it maintained the price at 68,000 VND/kg, equivalent to many provinces in the North and South.

The southern pig market remained stable in most localities, except for An Giang, which was the only place with a slight decrease compared to the previous session.

Specifically, the price of pork in An Giang decreased by VND1,000/kg, from VND69,000 to VND68,000/kg, reflecting that consumer demand here is somewhat slowing down, especially after the end of the peak consumption period at the end of June.

Meanwhile, other provinces such as:

Ho Chi Minh City, Ca Mau, Dong Nai: still maintain the highest level in the country at 70,000 VND/kg

Ben Tre, Long An, Dong Thap, Vinh Long: fluctuates from 68,000 - 69,000 VND/kg, no fluctuation
