Different from the traditional cultural promotion model, Bonjour Vietnam 2025 is an experimental and innovative playground, where nearly 100 young Vietnamese people from more than 10 countries gather to tell national cultural stories through visual arts, augmented reality technology and contemporary music . They are the ones who create a vibrant, multi-dimensional and inspiring Vietnam in the heart of Paris.
Bonjour Vietnam Festival 2025 is the result of close coordination between the Art Space Association - an independent cultural organization founded by young Vietnamese people in France, and the Vietnam Cultural Center in France - a unit that has not only organized but also supported and accompanied meaningful community cultural projects over the years.
The two art performances "Brilliant Vietnam" and "A Round of Vietnam" left a strong impression.
Compared to the first time held in 2024, this year's Festival has made great strides in both scale and content depth. During the two-day event, nearly 100 Vietnamese youth from many countries such as Canada, Belgium, Australia, Italy, France and Vietnam came together to create a multi-layered, dynamic and rich cultural space.
On the first floor, visitors can enjoy two special art exhibitions: "Brilliant Vietnam" - a collection of representative works selected from more than 1,000 paintings sent by Vietnamese youth from 17 countries, and "A Round of Vietnam" - a collection of vivid paintings by students of Olympia Inter-level School (Vietnam). Each work is a cultural slice, a visual story depicting Vietnamese identity through the lens of the global youth generation.

In particular, the second floor of the Festival offers a direct experience with traditional craft activities – all organized free of charge, open to the French public and international visitors. From Dong Ho painting, making bamboo dragonflies, decorating paper fans to writing calligraphy, these activities not only arouse interest, but also contribute to bringing Vietnamese culture closer to the international community in a close, natural and lively way. All are arranged in a cultural space simulating a traditional Tet market – full of interaction, memories and emotional connection.
On the 3rd floor, where there are 10 stalls of country market cuisine, visitors can also admire the beautiful, sharp photos of the project "Hanoi's Delicious Dishes" using AR technology to bring a unique experience - just scan the image to see a visual video of that dish. At the same time, viewers can not only see but also enjoy on the spot the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine with countless delicious dishes such as bun cha, nem cuon, xoi lac, banh cuon,...
Many tourists enjoy the traditional art of the nation - calligraphy.
In addition, the two nights of art performances "Rich roc Viet Nam" and "Mot vong Viet Nam" left a strong impression, showing the versatility and pioneering spirit of the young Vietnamese generation, creating a bridge connecting the arts: folk - contemporary, traditional - technology. From folk and contemporary performances such as "Bèo đat Mây trôi", "Lý keo chai", to the performance combining hip-hop with Northern sounds called "Bắc Bling", the Bonjour Vietnam choir and the French children of the Tim Choir broke the mold and opened a new definition of heritage.
President of Art Space Association and Program Coordinator Hoang Thu Trang shared: "The young generation of Vietnam not only continues the tradition but also innovates and spreads it to the world . We want to prove that Vietnamese culture is not old or limited. Today's young people are creative, dynamic, and courageous enough to bring national culture into the global space."
Deputy Director of the Vietnamese Cultural Center in France Tang Thanh Son commented: "Bonjour Vietnam is not only an art festival, but also a place for overseas Vietnamese children and multicultural families to understand more deeply about their roots, continuing their identity in a close, modern form."
The event attracted many international friends to participate.
The event was also honored to welcome Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang and Vietnamese Tourism Ambassador to France Anoa Suzanne Dussol Perran, along with thousands of visitors including Vietnamese, French and international friends. The warm atmosphere at the booths, the admiration in the eyes of the audience and the positive feedback from the international community are proof of the spread of Vietnamese culture when told in a new language - the language of creativity, of youth and of global connection.
On June 28-29, the Vietnam Cultural Center in Paris became the convergence point of a vibrant cultural wave. Bonjour Vietnam 2025 was not only a successful event, but also an affirmation that, with the right guidance from cultural organizations such as Art Space, and the support of agencies such as the Vietnam Cultural Center in France, the young generation of Vietnam is continuing to write the story of national heritage - with their hands, creativity, and the spirit of their times../.
