According to information released by Deo Nai - Coc Sau - TKV Coal Joint Stock Company (HNX: TD6), Mr. Nguyen Van Thuan, a member of the Board of Directors of this company, has just been prosecuted by the Investigation Police Agency - Quang Ninh Provincial Police for the crime of "Lack of responsibility causing serious consequences".
Previously, on July 1, TD6 met and agreed to suspend Mr. Thuan's status as a member of the Board of Directors. According to the introduction, Mr. Thuan was born in 1970 and has a Master's degree in Mining.
In 1993, he worked at Coc Sau Coal Company as a technician, then held many positions and became Director of Coc Sau Coal Joint Stock Company.
Notably, before the above information appeared, TD6's stock price had recorded many consecutive sessions of deep decline. As of July 4, TD6 was trading around VND8,800/share, losing nearly 30% of its market capitalization since its debut on June 16 at VND11,700/share.
Before being relisted on the HNX, TD6 went through a year-long preparation process through sequential steps after the shares of Deo Nai Coal Joint Stock Company and Coc Sau were delisted during the process of merging these two units into the current Deo Nai Coc 6 Coal Joint Stock Company.
According to the financial statements in the first quarter of 2025, TD6 recorded revenue of more than 1,688 billion VND, with a modest profit of more than 6 billion VND. TD6 has total assets rounded up to more than 3,309 billion VND, an increase of nearly 1,000 billion VND compared to the beginning of the period. Meanwhile, TD6 recorded more than 735 billion VND in equity, of which contributed capital is more than 619 billion VND. Currently, Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Group holds 65% of TD6's shares.
