Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung signed Decision No. 2353/QD-BVHTTDL dated July 3, 2025 approving the detailed plan to implement the task of Propagating foreign relations, celebrating major holidays; and the anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations with other countries.

The plan clearly states: the purpose and significance of promoting foreign relations, celebrating major holidays; the anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations with other countries to implement Resolution No. 47/NQ-CP dated April 15, 2024 of the Government promulgating the Action Program to 2030 to implement Conclusion No. 57-KL/TW dated June 15, 2023 of the Politburo on continuing to improve the quality and effectiveness of foreign information work in the new situation with the viewpoint: "constantly innovating content, diversifying foreign information methods according to the motto of being proactive, synchronous, timely, creative, and effective".

Strengthening the promotion and introduction to international friends and the overseas Vietnamese community of a beautiful, powerful, rich in identity, dynamic Vietnam on the way to enter a new era, an era of national growth.

At the same time, serving the propaganda work to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in a number of countries around the world, on the occasion of the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the host country. This is an opportunity for Vietnam to proudly look back on the past, affirming to the world that Vietnam is a country with a thousand-year history of civilization, peaceful, beautiful, open, hospitable, dynamically developing and a happy country. Vietnam is also increasingly affirming itself as an attractive destination for international investors and tourists.

The Department of Grassroots Information and External Information provides and sends external information and propaganda products to the Vietnamese Embassy in Finland, the Vietnamese Embassy in Hungary, the Vietnamese Embassy in Brunei, and the Vietnamese Embassy in Chile.
