According to the June report of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , the coffee growing area in Vietnam increased by 14,200 hectares, equivalent to an increase of 2% compared to the same period last year. Currently, the total coffee growing area in the country is about 735,200 hectares.

The main reason is the sharp increase in coffee prices in recent times, causing people to promote replanting and expand growing areas to take advantage of the high price period.

Pepper prices today in key growing areas remain unchanged compared to yesterday. distort, the domestic pepper price level is from 139,000 VND/kg to 144,000 VND/kg.

According to the Import-Export Department ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), domestic pepper prices are low because people and speculators continue to hold onto their goods, expecting prices to recover better in the third and fourth quarters.
