Center for Infrastructure Management and Consulting to Support Industrial Park Region 3 Actively Responds to Storm No. 5

In order to focus on responding to storm No. 5 (storm Kajiki), the Center for Infrastructure Management and Consulting Support for Industrial Parks (IPs) Region 3 has requested enterprises in the IPs: Dong Van I, Dong Van I expansion, Chau Son and Thanh Liem to check and prepare sufficient human and material resources to proactively prevent floods and storms, ensure the "4 on-site" motto, and be ready to respond to all situations when storms and heavy rains may last.

Previously, the Center also requested businesses to proactively inspect, repair, maintain, and dredge the entire sewer and ditch system to ensure effective drainage; brace houses, offices, factories, warehouses, construction works; remove advertising signs, trim tree branches, etc. to protect power lines and surrounding works. In case of flooding, in order to implement solutions as quickly as possible, businesses need to assign specific tasks to each department and individual to directly monitor and be on duty during storms; protect the safety of assets and workers' lives, and maintain internal security and order of the business when floods and storms occur.

Currently, the Center has proactively developed a plan to ensure smooth and continuous traffic in the industrial park area under its management when there is heavy rain, flood, and inundation; at the same time, assigning a schedule to monitor, regularly and continuously update information on the developments of storms, floods, and notify businesses to deploy appropriate, timely, and effective response work.

In addition, the Center also requires businesses to regularly and promptly inform the Center about their business situation; when floods and storms occur, the unit will synthesize and report to the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of the province to take timely measures, contributing to minimizing damage caused by storms, flooding and inundation.
