On the morning of July 9, comrade Pham Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation had a program to visit and work with officials, civil servants and people of the border communes of Ia Dom and Duc Co.

After listening to the report on the socio -economic situation and national security and defense in the area, comrade Pham Anh Tuan acknowledged that in the area of Gia Lai province (old) now belonging to the new Gia Lai province, there are many special investment policies from the central government. In the coming time, the provincial leaders will report to the central government to have more policies to improve people's lives based on the motto "give a fishing rod, teach how to fish".

Ia Dom commune is a border commune, with 16.2km of border with Cambodia, established in 1990 with a natural area of 14,562ha.

Ia Dom commune economic department staff proposed orientations to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty , improving living standards for people.

Therefore, in the coming time, the government will continue to invest in infrastructure , calling on businesses to come here to create jobs and livelihoods for people. When people produce, there will be stable consumers, not having a good harvest and low prices.

Local authorities need to promote their role and responsibility, guide people in techniques, and find output directions to ensure that people have a stable income from their agricultural products.

The Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee emphasized that in the near future, smartphones will be integrated with many tools for people to access the government and information, especially in the agricultural sector.

For poor, single, and disabled households, there will be subsidy policies. For those who are still able to work, there will be a mechanism to get rich legitimately.
