Ca Mau: Commune police issue license plates, regardless of residence

On July 5, Ca Mau Provincial Police said that people in the province can register their vehicles at all commune-level police stations, regardless of their place of residence.

Specifically, according to the decision to decentralize vehicle registration work of Ca Mau Provincial Police, from July 1, organizations and individuals are allowed to register vehicles; issue license plates for cars, motorbikes and specialized motorbikes at all commune-level police stations in the province, instead of having to follow the area of ​​residence as before.

The Traffic Police Department of Ca Mau Provincial Police is authorized to register and issue license plates for all types of vehicles, such as: cars, trailers, semi-trailers, four-wheeled vehicles carrying people or goods with engines, and vehicles with similar structures (collectively referred to as cars); motorbikes, scooters, similar vehicles (collectively referred to as motorbikes) and specialized motorbikes.

In addition, the Traffic Police Department also registers and issues license plates for auctioned vehicles in Ca Mau province, even if the vehicle owner does not reside or have headquarters in the locality.
