QGTC Garden - the place that used to be the roof of the Red-crowned Crane. Because, in 1988, there were 1,052 Red-crowned Cranes foraging, flying, singing loudly and were considered by Tam Nong people as a special symbol; the pride of their homeland, the land of the wild, fertile, and prosperous Dong Thap Muoi region. Ms. To Thi Bao Anh - a civil servant of Tram Chim commune shared: "QGTC Garden is the pride of the local people and the province. I wish to contribute as an on-site tour guide to tell stories about the rare Red-crowned Crane, about the typical flood season and the simple but precious things of my hometown to visitors...".
The National Park is home to more than 20,000 waterfowl, over 150 species of freshwater fish, 191 species of higher plants, and many species of amphibians, reptiles and other plankton. Mr. Pham Duc Hoa - Director of Tram Chim Tourist Area said: "We have an operational plan to welcome tourists, especially when Dong Thap province is newly put into operation; design and add a Crane space in the house to display bird eggs and freshwater fish; add a source of large native fish typical of Dong Thap Muoi region... to meet the needs of visitors".
Coming to the National Park, visitors will feel the values of nature, with vast primeval forests and wild birds, giving visitors a feeling of relaxation and comfort... after months of working, studying and working. Arriving at Tram Chim, when dawn has just broken, the morning dew is still on the branches and blades of grass, visitors sit in a boat to glide on the waves of the canal, watching both sides of the bank... birds flying in search of food, listening to birds chirping... A flock of hundreds of teals and wild ducks, hearing the sound of the boat approaching, soar high into the sky and spread their wings towards the cajuput forest in the distance. Kingfishers with blue feathers, leisurely perch on cajuput branches and bamboo poles; some quickly swoop down to the water to catch their prey, looking spectacular. A few red-crested tit birds, dark green feathers, and billowing tails... appear and disappear in the grass and reeds along the canal bank... Looking down from the Observatory is a primeval cajuput forest. Large and small cajuput trunks blend together, reaching high into the sky, cajuput leaves rustling in the early morning wind, cajuput flowers exuding a sweet fragrance...

When the sun gradually sets behind the primeval cajuput forest at the end of the horizon, it is also the time when water birds land to find food at the end of the day. In the sky, flocks of birds are flying back to their nests. Visitors enjoy easily watching birds and immersing themselves in the magical space of the romantic Tram Chim afternoon forest.
Mr. Truong Ba Thong - a tourist from Quang Tri province who came to the National Park for the first time said: "Coming here to watch the sunset with the sunlight shining through the cajuput leaves is very beautiful. It feels extremely comfortable. If I have the chance, I will bring my family here to enjoy this natural space". The wind of Tram Chim afternoon gently glides over the branches and blades of grass. The water surface ripples. The sunset dyes Dong Thap lotus pink. The water ripples, the wind rustles the reeds... The sky, the earth, the wind, the clouds and even the evening shadows dance to the rhythm of the wild birds... The bird watching and sunset watching session ends when visitors have a warm evening with their loved ones to have dinner with Dong Thap specialties, enjoying delicious food while listening to the sound of local folk music and singing to love this land more.
