The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a Decision to change the name of the National Press Award "For the cause of developing Culture, Sports and Tourism".

Accordingly, the name of the National Press Award "For the cause of developing Culture, Sports and Tourism" issued together with Decision No. 2450/QD-BVHTTDL dated October 5, 2022 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism will be changed to: National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese Culture".
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires the Culture Newspaper to be responsible for implementing related tasks after renaming the Award.
This Decision takes effect from the date of signing and promulgation. The Chief of the Ministry Office, Director of the Department of Planning and Finance, and Editor-in-Chief of the Culture Newspaper are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
The National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese Culture" is held to recognize and honor the outstanding contributions of collectives, individuals, and teams of journalists to the cause of developing culture, sports and tourism.
Through the Award, the results and achievements of culture, information, sports and tourism are introduced and promoted. At the same time, it is necessary to discover advanced models in the culture, information, sports and tourism sector; encourage and motivate the staff of the whole sector to join hands and continue to contribute more to the development of the sector. In addition, it is necessary to create conditions for journalists to exchange professional and technical experiences, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of information and press activities in the fields of culture, information, family, sports and tourism.
