Accordingly, from July 1, 2025, Mr. Thai Minh Cuong - Director of Lam Dong Electricity Company, was transferred and appointed to the position of Director of Dong Thap Electricity Company with a term of office of 5 years.
The organizational restructuring of the Corporation is a concrete step to realize the policy of streamlining the apparatus, improving effectiveness and efficiency, in line with the adjustment of administrative boundaries and the development strategy of the Electricity industry in the new period.
The new Dong Thap Power Company was established on the basis of merging two units: Tien Giang Power Company (old) and Dong Thap Power Company (old). After the merger, the Company is responsible for managing and operating the power system in Dong Thap and Tien Giang provinces, ensuring safe, continuous and effective power supply, serving the requirements of socio -economic development and people's lives.
In addition to the task of producing and trading electricity, the Company is also focusing on improving the quality of customer service, promoting the application of technology and digital transformation in management and operation, aiming at a modern, professional business model, adapting to new trends.
Currently, the organizational structure of Dong Thap Electricity Company includes 1 Director and 6 Deputy Directors.
