Announcement of Decision to establish Dong Thap Province Social Policy Bank Branch

DTO - On June 30, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) Branch in Dong Thap province held a conference to announce the Decision to establish the VBSP Branch in Dong Thap province and personnel work. Attending the conference, on behalf of the Central VBSP, there were comrades: Huynh Van Thuan - Deputy General Director of the VBSP; Pham Quan Tung - Head of the Labor and Network Management Team - VBSP Personnel Organization Board. On behalf of the leaders of Dong Thap province, there were comrades: Tran Thanh Nguyen - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thanh Dieu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. On behalf of the leaders of the merged branches, there were comrade Duong Van Hoang - Director of the VBSP of Tien Giang province and comrade Tran Dang Nhien, Deputy Director in charge of the VBSP of Dong Thap province.

At the conference, comrade Pham Quan Tung announced the Decision of the Board of Directors and General Director of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies on the establishment of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies Dong Thap Branch on the basis of merging the Tien Giang and Dong Thap Branches.

The conference also announced the Decision to appoint comrade Duong Van Hoang - Director of the People's Credit Fund of Tien Giang province to hold the position of Acting Director of the People's Credit Fund of Dong Thap province and appoint 6 Deputy Directors of the People's Credit Fund of Dong Thap province.

In his speech directing and assigning tasks, comrade Huynh Van Thuan emphasized the importance of unifying will and action throughout the branch to build a strong unit, meet new development requirements and improve operational efficiency.

He requested the Dong Thap Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to urgently review and rebuild a specific and detailed work plan suitable to the new situation, especially effectively implementing directive decisions related to the consolidation of the organizational structure and improving operational efficiency, especially Decision No. 05/QD-TTg dated January 4, 2023. The arrangement and assignment of staff at the Branch Headquarters and affiliated units also need to be urgently implemented to stabilize and come into operation soon.

He also requested the Branch to promote coordination between departments, offices, units and local authorities at all levels to effectively implement social policy credit programs, contributing to local socio -economic development and social security...

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Dong Thap Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, Mr. Duong Van Hoang expressed his deep gratitude to the Board of Directors and provincial leaders for entrusting him with the new responsibility.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Dieu - Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee presented flowers to congratulate the Director and Deputy Directors of Dong Thap Provincial Bank for Social Policies.

He also expressed his thanks to all officers and employees of the two branches Tien Giang and Dong Thap (old) who have always accompanied him during the past time.

Comrade Duong Van Hoang pledged to make every effort to successfully complete the assigned tasks, together with all officers and employees to build an increasingly strong branch, proud of the achievements. At the same time, he called on all officers and employees to be more united, creative and responsible to help many poor households, disadvantaged families and policy beneficiaries to change their lives positively, contributing to the successful implementation of the sustainable poverty reduction target program and social security work in the locality; expressed the wish to continue to receive the attention and direction of the leaders of the Central Bank for Social Policies, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, along with the support and sharing of all officers and employees of the branch to best fulfill this new responsibility.
