The program to introduce Vietnamese tourism in Germany is one of the activities in a series of programs to introduce Vietnamese tourism in Europe. At the opening ceremony of the program, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Mr. Ha Van Sieu said: Germany has always been a key market for Vietnamese tourism. In 2024, Vietnam welcomed nearly 250,000 German visitors, a complete recovery compared to the pre-pandemic period. In the first 5 months of 2025, the number of German visitors to Vietnam reached nearly 140,000, an increase of more than 16% over the same period last year - a positive signal and showing great potential in promoting tourist exchange between the two countries.

“German tourists are known for their tendency to seek profound experiences in culture, history and nature; love long journeys, be environmentally friendly and respect local identity. We realize that you not only want relaxing trips, but also want to truly live and immerse yourself in local life, experiencing authenticity in every moment. “Slow travel” associated with sustainable values, environmental protection and personalized experiences, is becoming a mainstream trend in German tourism tastes,” Deputy Director Ha Van Sieu emphasized.
