- Appoint Major General Le Xuan The, Deputy Commander of Military Region 7, to hold the position of Commander of Military Region 7.
- Appoint Major General Vu Hong Son, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Air Defense - Air Force, to hold the position of Commander of the Air Defense - Air Force.
- Appoint Colonel Tran Thanh Hai, deputy chief of staff of Military Region 5, to hold the position of deputy commander of Military Region 5.
The current leadership of the Ministry of National Defense includes: Minister, General Phan Van Giang.
