Nearly 1.3 billion VND to support OCOP product development

* 3 more products achieved 4-star OCOP

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in 2025, the province provided financial support for 127 products certified with 3-star OCOP certification or higher according to Resolution 03/2021/NQ of the Provincial People's Council with a total budget of nearly 1.3 billion VND.

Accordingly, the direct support level for entities with 3-star OCOP products is 10 million VND/product and 20 million VND/4-star OCOP product. In addition to financial support for products with OCOP certification, the unit also coordinates with departments and branches to guide enterprises and business households to register for collective trademark protection and apply barcodes for OCOP products; create conditions for production establishments and enterprises in the province to introduce and promote OCOP products through events, conferences, and fairs; at the same time, inspect and guide localities and entities to complete documents to re-evaluate OCOP products that have expired recognition.

* The Department of Agriculture and Environment has just held a ceremony to announce the decision to approve the results of the evaluation, classification and awarding of 4-star OCOP product certificates for the second phase of 2025. The products awarded provincial-level OCOP certificates this time include: Weasel-flavored coffee, Traditional weasel-flavored coffee and Traditional wood-roasted coffee beans of Huy Tung Coffee Company Limited (Tuy Hoa City). According to the decision, all three products meet the 4-star OCOP standards, valid for 36 months from the date of signing the decision. On behalf of the Provincial People's Committee, Ms. Dang Thi Thuy, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, wished that in the coming time, the subject will continue to invest, apply production technology, improve quality, focus on promotion, expand the market, especially the export market...

Thus, up to now, the whole province has 11/411 OCOP products recognized as meeting 4-star standards.
