The tourism connection between Phu Yen and Dak Lak provinces - one with sea, the other with forest - is opening up opportunities for strong development in the context of regional linkage and the policy of merging provinces. With more than 189km of coastline of Phu Yen and the ecosystem of primeval forests, waterfalls, and unique cultural villages of Dak Lak, this is an opportunity to build unique and attractive sea - forest tourism products that cannot be found anywhere else.
Tourism associations play a very important role in connecting businesses, orienting the market and proposing effective linkage models. Promoting the role of associations in the current period needs to focus on the following aspects: Promoting the development of inter-regional linkage tourism products: from sea to forest, from downstream to upstream. Each product needs to be designed according to the value chain of experience, connecting transportation, accommodation, cuisine and culture in a smooth and scientific manner. We believe that Phu Yen and Dak Lak will unite into one, with the participation of the entire political system, government apparatus and tourism association, the tourism business community will make a strong breakthrough, becoming a bright spot in the South Central Coast, Central Highlands and the whole country.

With just over 4 hours of travel by car from the coastal city of Tuy Hoa to Buon Ma Thuot - the coffee capital of the Central Highlands, on the same journey, visitors can experience two completely different shades of nature: welcoming the dawn at Mui Dien - where the sun first rises on the mainland of Vietnam, then in the late afternoon, immersing themselves in the great forest, listening to the sound of Dray Nur waterfall and the echoes of gongs echoing from the Ede villages. It is a journey of interweaving the breath of the ocean and the echoes of the great forest, between the salty taste of seafood and the taste of grilled meat and bamboo rice with a jar of rice wine.

To develop tourism sustainably and effectively in the context of regional restructuring, it is essential to strengthen the connection between Phu Yen and Dak Lak tourism businesses.
