Expectations to rise after merging communes and wards

On the morning of June 30, joining the bustling atmosphere of the whole country in the process of rearranging administrative units according to the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee, at the Party Committee headquarters of Hoa Xuan, Hoa Hiep, and Dong Hoa communes and wards, many people and officials came to attend the online ceremony to announce important resolutions and decisions of the Central and local governments.

From early morning, local people, officials and party members eagerly gathered at the Party Committee headquarters, walking among rows of bright red flags on the streets. They followed online the ceremony held at the 10/3 Square bridgehead, Buon Ma Thuot ward, Dak Lak province. After the online ceremony, the localities continued to organize the announcement and handover of resolutions and decisions on personnel according to the merger plan.

People expressed their trust and great expectations for a new journey with a streamlined, efficient and closer-to-the-people organization. Mr. Nguyen Hong Chung, former Head of the People's Mobilization Committee of Dong Hoa District Party Committee (old), emotionally shared: "I have witnessed many changes in administrative organization, but this time it really left a special mark. The organization was quickly completed right after the merger, demonstrating the great determination of the province. I believe that the new organization will be more flexible, reduce intermediate procedures, and save time for people, especially the elderly like us."

In the same spirit, Ms. Le Thi Thao, a trader in Hoa Xuan commune, expressed her agreement: “At first, there will be some confusion, but if the system operates smoothly and the procedures are quick and simple, the people will be very supportive. The important thing is that the local government needs to continue to be close to the people, supporting their lives and business to be smooth.”

Mr. Pham Y Thien, assigned as Deputy Director of the Public Administration Service Center of Hoa Hiep Ward, said: "Taking on the new task after the merger, my colleagues and I have proactively reviewed the facilities, ensured working conditions, and are ready to serve the people with the highest sense of responsibility."

Affirming the spirit of readiness, solidarity and determination to fulfill the assigned role well, Mr. Huynh Nguyen Ngoc Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Hoa Hiep Ward emphasized: “This is both an honor and a great responsibility. We are determined to unite and make constant efforts so that the new apparatus can operate effectively and best serve the people.”
