Hung Long Temple in Dong Tien Hai Commune is the place to worship Saint Hoang Bo, commonly known as Quan Hoang Bo - the patron saint of people working on the water. Every year, local people hold a traditional festival to commemorate the great contributions and express their gratitude to Saint Hoang Bo.
Hung Long Temple Festival is closely associated with the history of the formation and development of Hung Long village, taking place from the 10th to the 15th of the 6th lunar month every year. During the festival days, local people and tourists from all over participate in the water procession ceremony, festival activities such as: art festival, lion and dragon dance, unique folk games...
At the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Nghiem presented a certificate from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recognizing Hung Long Temple Festival as a national intangible cultural heritage.
