VinFast finalizes Limo Green specifications, runs 450km/charge

VinFast Limo Green is the first all-electric MPV model of the Vietnamese car company, aiming directly at the popular MPV segment which is currently very vibrant with names like Mitsubishi Xpander, Toyota Veloz Cross or Suzuki XL7.

This is the most popular car group in the market thanks to its flexible transport capacity, practical design and reasonable price. Since its appearance, Limo Green has attracted attention thanks to its 7-seat design, suitable for family needs and transportation services.

With an overall length of 4,740 mm and a wheelbase of 2,840 mm, the model surpasses its competitors in the same segment in terms of size, creating an advantage in cabin space and third row of seats.

Limo Green uses full LED lights, including headlights, daytime running lights and rear brake lights. The 18-inch rims with 235/55R18 tires create a sturdy, modern look.

The car's cabin has a simple, practical style. Notable features include: a 10.1-inch central screen, a steering wheel similar to the VF e34, 1-zone automatic air conditioning with vents for all 3 rows of seats, an electronic handbrake and a rotary gearshift cluster. Fabric seats, 6-way manual driver's seat and a manual trunk.

Limo Green is equipped with an electric motor with a capacity of up to 201 horsepower, maximum torque of 280Nm, front-wheel drive. This parameter is almost double that of competitors using gasoline engines: Xpander (102 horsepower), Veloz Cross (105 horsepower) and XL7 (103 horsepower). This is an important factor that helps the car operate more powerfully and smoothly, especially when fully loaded.

The car's battery allows for a maximum travel range of 450 km after a full charge, meeting the needs of daily and inter-provincial travel. The car also supports 80kW fast charging, taking only 30 minutes to charge from 10-70% capacity.

In terms of safety, Limo Green has basic features such as ABS, EBD, electronic balance, hill start assist, anti-rollover, traction control, automatic throttle and rear parking assist.

The car has 4 front and side airbags in the front row. The driver assistance system (ADAS) is not equipped in the current version, it can be included in the versions for individual customers in the future.

VinFast announced a selling price of 749 million VND including the battery – higher than competitors using internal combustion engines such as Xpander (560–658 million), Veloz Cross (638–660 million) or XL7 (600 million). However, this price is considered reasonable considering the powerful electric motor and outstanding spacious design.

According to the plan, VinFast will sell the first Limo Green cars in August 2025. This is a strategic step to anticipate the electric vehicle trend in the MPV segment, which does not have many competitive products at the present time.
