At 8:00 p.m. today (June 30), Hai Phong City will organize a live television broadcast of the art program "Radiant Hai Phong" along with a fireworks display to celebrate the unification of Hai Duong - Hai Phong at the City Theater Square (Hai Phong) and at the Xu Dong Cultural Center (Hai Duong City).

Despite the rain, tens of thousands of people and tourists still flocked to the Dong Xu Cultural Center (Hai Duong) to wait for the art program and admire this special fireworks display.
At exactly 10pm, when the rain had just stopped, the sky of Hai Phong lit up with a high-altitude fireworks display that lasted nearly 15 minutes.
The beams of light bloom continuously, in a variety of colors, creating a spectacular scene.
Every time the fireworks explode, the whole square explodes with cheers, applause, excited children's voices mixed with the sound of cameras and phones capturing memorable moments.
“I brought my two children to watch the fireworks. At first, I was worried that the rain would delay the fireworks display, but as soon as the rain stopped, the fireworks lit up brilliantly. The feeling at that moment was hard to describe. I felt very happy and proud because Hai Phong and Hai Duong had become one, facing the opportunity for stronger development,” said Ms. Pham Truc Quynh (in Hai Duong).
“I was born in Hai Duong but lived in Hai Phong for many years. Now witnessing the moment of unification between the two localities, I feel very happy. Tonight's fireworks are like connecting the friendship between the two regions of the Cam River and the Thuong River," said Nguyen Van Bac (in Hai Duong City).
“Rang ro Hai Phong” is not only a simple art program but also a symbol of harmony, connection and development. The fireworks that lit up the sky marked a memorable milestone in the new development journey of the two localities, opening up expectations for a unified, modern and vibrant city.
