Chelsea beat PSG 3-0 to win FIFA Club World Cup 2025
Before the final match in the US, Paris Saint Germain (PSG) was rated higher when they defeated a series of big teams such as Atletico, Inter Miami, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid with a big score. Chelsea fell into the easy bracket and they also did not leave much of an impression on the journey to the final match.

PSG fielded their best stars with Doue, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia, Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz. On Chelsea's side, midfielders Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez, Cole Palmer supported behind striker Joao Pedro.
Right after the opening whistle, Chelsea suddenly pressed the field and created good pressure on PSG's goal. The English representative put strong pressure, showing superiority over their opponent in terms of physical strength. In the 8th minute, Cole Palmer left his mark when he fired a long shot that went just wide.
Chelsea's constant pressure was materialized in the 22nd minute. Receiving a pass from Malo Gusto, Cole Palmer, unmarked, placed a dangerous left-footed shot from the 16m50 box, defeating Gianluigi Donnarumma, opening the score 1-0 for Chelsea.

Eight minutes later, Cole Palmer once again showed his star quality with a goal that doubled the gap. Receiving a long pass from his teammate on the right wing, the English midfielder dribbled into the middle and curled the ball with his left foot into the PSG net, doubling the gap to 2-0 for Chelsea.
Two minutes before the end of the first half, Chelsea players coordinated brilliantly and Cole Palmer had a delicate pass for new player Joao Pedro to break the offside trap and chip the ball past goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, helping Chelsea lead 3-0 while surprising the PSG defense.
In the second half, PSG tried to fight back to find a goal. Leading by 3 goals, Chelsea decided to choose a defensive style of play and goalkeeper Robert Sanchez left a strong impression.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper continuously made spectacular saves, notably the quick reflexes that saved Chelsea from Ousmane Dembele's close-range shot in the 52nd minute.
In the remaining time, PSG controlled the ball but Chelsea played with discipline and science . Unable to find an equalizer, PSG also played with one less man in the 85th minute when midfielder Joao Neves received a red card for pulling the hair of Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella.
At the end of 90 minutes, Chelsea beat PSG 3-0 in the final of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and won the championship. This is the second title for coach Enzo Maresca and Chelsea after winning the Conference League championship nearly 2 months ago. This is the second time Chelsea has won the FIFA Club World Cup after winning the championship in 2021.

The heat of the match continued after the referee blew the final whistle, the two sides got into a fight, forcing the coaches of both teams to step in to stop it. Coach Luis Enrique left an ugly image when he slapped Joao Pedro, causing him to fall to the ground.
PSG had scored 16 goals and conceded just once leading up to the final. They had many games where they won big in the first half, then saved their energy for the second half against Inter Miami in the round of 16 or Real Madrid in the semi-finals. This time, however, Chelsea beat PSG in that scenario to win the title.
