On the morning of July 14, Fulbright University Vietnam announced that it had just completed the appointment of a new principal and a new Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Accordingly, Dr. Dinh Vu Trang Ngan became the principal of the school from July 10. Previously, she held the position of Vice President of Student Affairs at Fulbright University.

Dr. Ngan's top priorities after taking up the new role are to ensure that key academic programs have adequate resources to develop and expand, while attracting and developing highly qualified faculty, providing scholarships to support students, and accelerating the completion of the official campus at the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park.
The new principal emphasized that the recent establishment of the Fulbright Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a clear demonstration of the school's efforts in developing a generation of global citizens.
“Schools have a responsibility to ensure all students are equipped to succeed in a world where AI impacts every aspect of life.
Dr. Trang Ngan is an alumnus of Bates College, University of Chicago and University of Cambridge.
Also on this occasion, Mr. Chris Helzer was appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Fulbright University Vietnam. Previously, Mr. Helzer held the position of Vice President of Global Public Policy at Nike Corporation.
Since joining the Board of Trustees in 2022, Mr. Helzer has demonstrated a strong commitment to the school’s mission, leading strategic discussions on its vision for the future.
