Prioritize selecting 25% of communes and wards to establish construction planning in 2025 to attract investment

According to the Provincial People's Committee, after merging Dong Nai province (old) and Binh Phuoc province (old) into the new Dong Nai province and organizing the implementation of the 2-level local government model, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to urgently review and compare the regulations after organizing the 2-level local government, the Law on Urban and Rural Planning to advise the Provincial People's Committee to implement the work of establishing, appraising and approving construction planning.

In particular, priority will be given to selecting 25% of communes and wards to carry out construction planning in 2025 to serve as a basis for attracting investment and creating momentum for growth. At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to review and propose contents that need to be registered to work with the Ministry of Construction to resolve difficulties and provide implementation guidance for communes and wards.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to base on the Planning of Dong Nai Province (old) for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050 and the Planning of Binh Phuoc Province (old) for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050 to advise on adjusting the new Planning of Dong Nai Province. During the review period to adjust the new Planning of Dong Nai Province, in the immediate future, the province will base on the approved planning to continue management.
